Google Keep provides quick note-taking and checklists with label organization and real-time sharing across Google accounts. While useful for basic grocery notes, it lacks AnyList's automatic category grouping, recipe database, and dedicated meal planning. Being completely free, it attracts minimalists who do not need specialized shopping or cooking features.
