How do I calculate what percentage one number is of another?
(part ÷ whole) × 100. For example 25 of 200 is (25 ÷ 200) × 100 = 12.5%.
How do I calculate percentage change?
((new − old) ÷ |old|) × 100. A move from 200 to 250 is a +25% change.
How do I find a percentage of a number?
Multiply the number by the percentage divided by 100: 20% of 150 = 150 × 0.20 = 30.
